Statement on Violent Act in Boulder

My deepest sympathies go out tonight to those keeping weekly vigil who were viciously attacked in Boulder today. I hope that they and their loved ones feel the support of our community as they struggle to comprehend what has happened.

My deepest sympathies go out tonight to those keeping weekly vigil who were viciously attacked in Boulder today. I hope that they and their loved ones feel the support of our community as they struggle to comprehend what has happened. I know all of us feel special gratitude for the first responders whose quick action is deeply appreciated.

For those impacted from the CU Boulder campus, I encourage you to reach out for the help you need. The campus has resources for you. You don’t have to navigate this alone. https://www.colorado.edu/today/2025/06/01/statement-downtown-boulder-attack
