Danielle Radovich Piper
Danielle Radovich Piper oversees external relations in the Office of the President and for CU’s system administration. She has extensive experience in government relations, public policy and constituent engagement. She is responsible for coordinating and advancing external efforts for the four-campus university system in communications, marketing, government relations, fundraising support operations, and outreach and engagement. Radovich Piper also works closely with the president on strategic vision and the Board of Regents in addressing shared priorities with the administration.
She manages CU’s systemwide marketing and branding efforts, collaborating with colleagues on the university’s campuses to craft messages and create campaigns that convey the value of a CU degree, the individual and collective strengths of each campus, and the contributions CU makes to Colorado and beyond.
Before coming to CU, Radovich Piper served for 16 years as chief of staff for Colorado Congressman Ed Perlmutter, who retired from Congress in January 2023. Before serving as Rep. Perlmutter’s chief of staff, Radovich Piper was chief of staff for the Senate Majority in the Colorado General Assembly. She was also an associate at a Denver-based public affairs firm. She has been appointed to several state-level entities, including the Supreme Court Nominating Commission and the Census Outreach Grant Committee.
Radovich Piper earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Colorado State University. She and her husband, Chris, have two children, Aiden and Liam.
